Hennessey Corvette ZR1
At 638 BHP, the Corvette ZR1 is among the fastest production cars already. Still the performance engineering done by Hennessey has raised its level to 705 BHP. No matter what amount of power is the output it would never be enough. The new Corvette ZR1 that has a torque of 3200 RPMS at a 717 ft-lbs. This up gradation in power statistics was achieved by addition of air intake system, supercharger, performance exhaust system and ECU tuning. The rotating weight of the Corvette ZR1 was reduced by 60 lbs due to induction of lightweight carbon fiber rims, which were strapped around Michelin Pilot Sport cup tires. Canards, a rear spoiler with a supply of over 300 lbs down force towards the rear end of the car and AZ –Aero carbon fiber front splitter were installed.
The car has got some wonderful interior modifications that include Sparco seats made up of lightweight carbon fiber. A new shift knob and Alcantara steering wheels are among the modifications, gone inside the car. There has been immense gain in the performance of the car due to modifications that makes the car achieve speed of 60 mph within 2.0 seconds only and 0-100 mph in just 6.5 seconds.
